Reiki is a Healing Model

Reiki is all about enlightenment, spiritual awakening and self-realization. Reiki is an energy that is high in frequency and vibrates to the energy of Love - the highest and purest energy in life. Hiroshi Doi says, "Reiki is a wave of Love!"

It is is a reminder to free ourselves of the low vibrations of worry, stress, anger, fear, and sadness and disease - freeing our lives to live in the higher vibrations of peace, faith, love, gratitude, honesty and compassion.

So what can living by the precepts of Reiki do for your health and well being and what can a session or treatment do for you?

It balances and works on four levels of existence:

Physical - the body and manifested pain

Emotional - what you feel

Mental - what you are allowing yourself to think and believe in

Spiritual - your capacity to love yourself and others

And it works on the cause rather than the effect of a dis-ease and treats the dis-ease instead of the symptoms. (modern medicine attempts to cure the symptom)

Reiki accelerates healing, which may manifest initially as discomfort - but you do heal at a faster rate.

How does it feel to receive a reiki treatment?

You may find the energy relaxing and become tired and fall asleep. You may find relief from pain - chronic or otherwise and as old patterns are released, you may yawn, fall asleep, sigh, cough, sneeze or cry. You may experience the energy as colours or emotions. However you feel with a reiki treatment - you will benefit deeply and for a period of time long after the initial treatment. Energy is in motion and will continue to heal the cause for 21 days after each session or treatment.

Reiki is not a religion. It holds no Doctrines, Creeds or contraditions to the Universal Laws of Consciousness and Love. No matter where a person is in their life, Reiki energy comes from the God-Source and is an extremely powerful healing energy. It is also one of the few forms of healing that can be used to heal oneself and complements allopathic medicine by speeding up the healing process and providing a source of restoring energy while one is ill.
